Entry # 2: Gun Violence

Gun violence is a national public health crisis that has a significant impact on American Society. Just the other day my neighbors were shot in front of their house by an unknown person driving by. Now we're not able to live our lives without fear. Fear of going to the movies to school a concert or even just going outside our homes. More than anything it's our mass shooting that is a particular problem in the United States. Heartbreaking and unfair that all these young innocent children lost their lives, especially in a place that should have been their safe place. It's out of control so it's important we speak about this and act upon it so this never happens again. We must make our country safe again! Should there be stricter laws on gun control?  Should teachers be allowed to carry registered guns on school campuses?  Should guns be banned? The second Amendment of the United States, the constitution reads the right of the people to keep and bear arms. So banning guns is not a way to control our issue. As much as I don't like guns I realize that they also provide protection to our American Society from mugging, home invasions, and tourist attacks. Many of our mass shootings were done with a firearm that was not reregistered  In my opinion, the police should be more involved in the illegal gun trade. It is critical to hire more police officers so that they can find ways to control our violence and the illegal gun trade. What are your thoughts about gun violence?
